How to grow Cyrtomium fortunei ‘clivicola’

Cyrtomium fortunei ‘clivicola’, sometimes called the holly fern, likes to be in either a sunny or partially shady spot. It is quite a tolerant plant able to grow in a slightly acid or alkaline soil. It prefers to be in a moist humus rich soil. The soil should be well drained

It will reach a final size of about half a meter high and wide. They are useful as a woodland type plant and as such are good underplanting for larger and aggressive growers
