Will my cold damaged Cordyline survive?

Cordylines have taken a beating over the 2022/23 winter. The combination of snow and freezing temperatures has caused many to present with browning leaves that look dead. So will these recover?  Maybe. It’s best to leave the leaves on for now and see what happens in the spring. The leaves will either drop off or you can pull or cut off the definitely dead leaves. Then cut the stem a few inches down to look for living undamaged tissue. The plant might sprout from here but if the main stem is mushy then cut off just above the ground. Then just wait and see what happens. They often re grow.
